You know how some books you pick up and immediately fall in love with it and find that you just can't put it down? The book is your every thought and you want to freeze time so you can just read it all day? Shadow and Bone is one of those books!I wanted to put everything on hold and freeze time so I can just read and read. Whenever I got a break in class, I read. Instead of taking my lunch break, I read. I was just so into this story and so in love with the world Leigh Bardugo created. The characters were fantastic!Shadow and Bone was entertaining and had me glued to the pages until the very end. This to me makes a book a HUGE five stars. It consumed my every thought. I was very antsy waiting to see what would happen. The romance in the story is unbelievably beautiful and developed at the perfect time. It was just right and not super overdone.Another great thing that stuck out to me was the opening chapter and the ending chapter. It's one of those before and after scenes, but the way the author did it was great. This is a book worth reading! I HIGHLY recommend it.5 out of 5 stars!
